Just look at this store in Brooklyn:
A store that sells things for 99 cents.
Or more than 99 cents.
Or even, wait for it, less than 99 cents.
Wow! A store that sells things for 'a price between zero and infinity (in cents)'. Radical. Even better, they actually marked each item with a little sticker showing the individual price of the item!! Ker-razy!!
I dream of the day I get to see such a store in poor old England. We lack the technology :(

There are loads of things I would sell for less than a dollar. Including my piss.
yeah! But they can make a profit from suckers who buy lollipops and cheap perfumes from there!!
We, as a nation, suffer from Indecisiveness. It's an epidemic, like piggy flu, or the infestation of zombies.
Using the 'more or less' allows us to change our minds...which we frequently do...just to annoy visitors from other countries...like bratty little squirrels. :D
And who you callin' wannabe?

I used to a bit confused about prices when I went to Poundland but I think I've gotten the gist of things now...
Wait a minute. There's a STORE? With things FOR SALE? And those things may or may not be priced around a dollar?!
Gawd. Is this a great country or what?

The 67p Store (yes, that's sixty-seven pence) just down the road from the library is having an early summer sale ("10% off" - sadly my professional need for pseudonymity prevents my posting the photos).
Poundland ain't good enough for you?
Snob.
gb - so you wouldn't sell your piss for more than a dollar?
Roshni - well there were things in there for tens of dollars. It was just a normal shop really.
Sweet Cheeks - I meant yuh family no disrespec'
weenie - imagine how crazy it would be to go into Poundland and find 99% of the stuff not on sale for a pound? Mind-boggling!
Pearl - that was very much my reaction :)
Kevin - 67p store? Now that's the place to be at.
Rachel - not when there's a 67p store out there somewhere!
