When your 22 year old co-worker informs you that she has never used a fax machine.
I'll say that again:
Never used a fax machine
When faced with our incredulity, she simply stated 'well, why wouldn't you email it?'
Words fail me. I require a time machine to re-educate her. I bet she's never done a tape-mix either, or used a VCR.
Does anyone have a spare time machine?

Haha I know! I mentioned "records" to someone the other day, because I had records as a kid before CDs became the big thing. They looked at me like I'd been talking about writing with a quill by candlelight. It's like trying to explain to an 18 year old how you made it to adulthood without a cell phone. Crazy kids. Are your 30s really that old? Feels like it.
I once shared a duplex with a woman who wanted to know if she needed to add a can of water when she re-heated my home-made soup...
Pearl
My God...I've missed you Little Squirrel!
xoxoxo
Can't use a fax machine? You should have told her to make it send by pressing the green button with her right nipple.

When PJ & Duncan were mentioned to my friend last night, she didn't know who they were...
"Ant and Dec"
"oh yes, I LOVE them"
"they're PJ and Duncan"
*funny look*
goodness I'm old!
TVA - I think your 30s are being made to feel old nowadays. I got looked at weirdly for using a roadmap the other day instead of having satnav. I *like* reading maps, and seeing as satnavs only became common a few years ago it really shouldn't make me feel like a old person....
Pearl - Was she a youngster? And more importantly, what is a duplex?
Sweet Cheeks - where have you been?! As for droopy buttock woman, well she didn't have a droopy butt. She just had a really long back and short legs. She was only 20 or something but had an arse a foot closer to the floor than her neighbour in the queue....
pinkjellybaby - I bet she doesn't know what Byker Grove is either does she? Tsk.
Little Squirrel...I've been on fucking Facebook.
God I hate/love it.
In that order.
Really missed you though!!!!
You mean you're not old?
It was the day that someone younger than me didn't know who The Chuckle Brothers was that made me feel old...
Um, Iveneverusedafaxmachine.
You can shoot me now :P
P: Someone didn't know who the Chuckle Brothers were?! *Shudder*
I've got to the stage now where I don't take prisoners. "Don't know who Dickie Valentine is? You'll just have to Google it then, won't you?"
i've never used a fax machine, I've had people use one on my behalf though, does that count?
I've never really understood how they work either...
Sweet Cheeks - Facebook? Blimey, that's like internet crack is that.
Clock Person - Yes dear.
P - how can anyone not know who the Chuckle Brothers are? Mind you, a girl at work with green hair didn't even know who Grotbags was! *shakes head in disbelief*
Elle - you're the same age as my co-worker. That doesn't count :)
Kevin - quite right too. The young 'uns love wikipedia so much that they may as well use it to find out something useful.
Charby - it's a scanner attached to a modem. How can you not have ever used one? Tsk.
