How to feel old pt. 2

On my way to work today I walked past about 500 freshly-scrubbed young students, gathered on their first day at University to register for their courses and I thought of only one single thing:

Christ, another bunch of noise-mongering bastards determined to hold 'fresher' parties every night for a fortnight and deny me any sleep whatsoever during the week.

I'm not even twice their age yet, and I'm already a crotchety old git :(

You could always try gate-crashing. Some of the girls might be drunk enough to go home with you.

gb - I'm happily in a relationship thanks. With a student.

Unleash me upon them for they are worthy!

ps - I will require a formal invitation from yourself and an excuse, e.g. an Alabama 3 gig or suchlike.

I know... I see them gathering in the centre of Manchester and all I can think is: "well, that's the buses fucked for another season."

token - I seem to have an email about that. I shall reply to it there instead :)

Kevin - exactly! They're not all bastards, but some of them need a year away from their parents to learn some manners.....

Freshly scrubbed? That won't last long.

Rachel - indeed. Inside of a week they'll be stinking of cheap weed and Smirnoff Ice.

Ha! I feel the same thing sometimes seeing them descend upon my city and clogging up the Tesco extra in the city centre.

I'm hopefully going to be a (part-time) student soon too. Such a hypocrite!

Elle - you can be one of the good ones :)
